As soon as upon a time there was a man and a woman.
One grew up in a working class wn in South Wales, the in a tiny farming wn in Philippines you couldn’t get more special people from such unusual walks of lives.
Through fate they met and a year or so later they had a daughter. In another twist of fate they moved to Australia following an idea he had that they didn’twant to get their kids up in Wales or Philippines. My biggest highlights were being at a party with biggest A listers in business meeting and chatting to a couple of stars of Downton Abbey and having a good chat to newly married couple Liam McIntyre and Erin Hasan intending to the ilets and getting my L’Oreal goody bag and Rollasoles after that, finding the VIP lounge by accidentally following Rhianna attempting to sneak a pic of her and having a 2 second conversation with Taylor Swift and taking a pic with her and my mate. Season two Finale.
Not even talking about either loving or faulting the season storyline two finale, is superb.
There’s rarely a flubbed word or gesture. There was lots of big quality, devoted performances, with 2ndary characters. I liked modern introduction characters in this closing chapter. So, I likewise love discovering big, newest actors, and was excited at Brianna coming. With all that said… I’m pretty sure I searched with success for Sophia Skelton in Brianna part to be especially inept in every scene she participated in. Nearly almost any line she delivered rang false unreal. Tho in a few instances her acting was acceptable, all time it was nothing less than POOR. Every scene she was in deteriorated moment she spoke her first few lines, even tho she was lifted by strong cast surrounding her. Dozens of her scenes reeked with a fakeness that will barely rival a big school play. Specifically with all the rapid scene rethinking, Know what, I dreaded the moment she came back to the action, right after a while. Some info may be looked with success for on internet. For the first time in two full seasons, Know what, I could no longer get lost in inside the story being that Sophia’s poor acting kept pulling me out. With that said, I searched for her performance to be of this type of a rather low, superficial quality that I usually can completely wonder who’s her Daddy?
Sophia Skelton playing Brianna part has been either horrific nepotism or horrific casting, tho surely her looks do fit the part.
Ultimately, enableing this ep to air as a completed piece drops to director.
Let me ask you something. Nobody knows? Possibly her acting skills will refine in upcoming episodes after getting used to her character and the work. Came here to say very similar thing.
I’m glad I’m not alone in thinking that Sophia Skelton’s acting ruined episode.
They need to replace her with someone better.
Otherwise they not sure if we usually can stand to watch series anymore. Notice that sam Heughan must play Lord John! He could’ve his real blonde hair and use a wig for Jamie part. He has perfect face for it. Simply think for a moment. She was probably verra pretty She may wear HEELS that requires height care issue Blue contacts and you have BREE! She looks youthful BUT ROGER has always been supposed to be six yrs older! This is where it starts getting interesting. I think You got the bad fellow to play him!
JAMMF might be 44 when they meet Claire might be 47 when they meet back up OIL Of Ole for Claire?????
That my be a miracle, I guess they could work miracles with camera angles.
It wasn’t so ugh for Sam to appear taller when is virtually a whole foot taller than her, laura Donnelly, actress who portrayed Jenny has always been 5’4″. Then, as lots of here have commented, that may be accomplished, To be honest I have explore books six and recognize that Bree should’ve been taller and should have blue eyes. It is she’s always dyed her hair redish the most prominent trait mentioned in the books. Light blue contacts and heels could get rest care.a slew of rather short actors have played taller characters. Now regarding aforementioned fact… I do hope that producers will get these features into account. Yes, that’s right! The fact that the actress doesn’t have these features, doesn’t make away from stories, Claire should have been plumper and have brownish eyes. Bree’s height and eyes are quite vital in the stories notably since they probably were traits she inherits from Jaime. Bree shouldn’t be shorter than one and the other her parents.
She has been supposed to be 6ft tall.
She’s solely 5’8″?!
Not good about that. Her extreme height sets her apart in the 18th century. How lots of people commented on her hugeness in the books? This is where it starts getting rather interesting. Vast part of her character and personality. Could b a deal breaker for me. She is lovely but noticed she has light brown eyes in this photo. Ok, and now one of the most vital parts. That won’t do! She isn’t tall enough. She is supposed to wer over Claire and be closer to six feet.
SO MANY TIMES in the books.
That is how Jamie describes her when they first meet.
Perhaps they usually can do wonders with camera angles. All in all they guess they eventually had to settle on a perfect actress and will somehow make her appearance fit the bill.
I hope so in any event. All the best to you Sophie. Now pay attention please. They will. Consequently, I am living proof. I do have a degree in science and yes, I’m almost sure I see my parents have always been truly my parents. They will have a brownish eyed child, if all blueish eyed parents carry dominant trait for brownish eyes therefore. I think in Ron expert hands, Rik and Sophie will embody real essence of Roger and Bree, and I am thrilled to watch them come to health! When adapting for television story telling, So there’s a particular quantity of creative licence. As well, as their consultant must be process part with Ron throughout, diana as in casting with Cait and Sam. I’d love to hear her acquire these modern actors, I imagine she gave them a solid Mrs. Fitz, whoop! Quite excited! As you may see from photo at the post top, actress has adopted light red tresses for role, described in Diana Gabaldon’s novels as Claire and Jamie’s statuesque, ginger haired, verysmart and very grounded ’20 something’ daughter.
They need to discover an actress who’s six feet or taller?
Claire always wers over lots of men.
They all look like shrimps next to her. That ship sailed, A shorter Claire will have been better aligned with the books and easier for more women to identify with. I support the miscast light brown eyes since neither parent has that domenent trait. I oftentimes wonder what casting qualifications directors always were. You should think a significant course in genetics my be a minimum requirement. I was disappointed in actress choice for Brianna. Likewise, not a perfect casting choice physically as it’s impossible to have a light brown eyed child from 1 blueeyed parents. Her hair always was pin straight and they all have curly hair. She just doesn’t look like a believable offspring from those 3. Of course it’s crazy to see that’s top-notch they could come up with nearly out endless supply of actresses on planet earth. She’s not tall, we will get past all she has light brown eyes.
What we detest was always her acting.
She ruins almost any single scene she’s in!
I can’t wait for the newest season BUT dreading her! I hope producers and directors make notice of much their fans disapprove choice for Bree! I see there are old enough posts, has anyone watched last episode where Roger and Brianna were introduced? That said, season finale is perfect! Respected Roger but OMG how did they pick that girl to portray Brianna? Now let me tell you something. She looks part but once again, OMG…. That girl actually can’t act! Notice, per the official description, ‘Strongminded’ and intelligent beyond her years, Brianna has a distinctly scholastic mindset and a wholesome dose of Fraser stubbornness. Consequently, books Fans understand that though Brianna oftentimes called Bree usually was Jamie’s child, sheis raised in America and grows up thinking Frank Randall has probably been her father. She spends an awful lot of time with Roger Wakefield, a part a few weeks ago filled by Scottish actor Richard Rankin. I was so disappointed with her acting skills. Pretty unsuccessful acting skills, that have been pretty evident in her scenes with Roger and Claire, I could look past being anyway except for the hair.
Except for her, last show was amazing. I hope she requires some acting lessons and works to enhance her acting skills. Basically the actress is English and her American accent was always atrocious and her acting flat and amateurish esp next to Catriona, brianna was probably American in the books. Watch finale and you may hear her awful American accent grating amidst Scottish voices. They must have cast a real Amarcian girl, or a better British actress practically. Disappointed in the choice for Bree. She doesn’t look anything like Jamie. Needless to say, no way Bree could have gloomy brown eyes. What was casting doing all this time? With that said, what alet down! You usually can find a lot more information about this stuff on this site. Was looking forward to the Roger/Brianna romance. Not anymore.
Wasn’t that is where my acquaintance got the light brown eyes from. Then once again, I thought Sophie Skelton was horrible in comparison to some of the cast and tally unbelievable in her role. If the character grew up in Boston, where was Boston accent? Furthermore, hopefully Claire will go back through stones and leave Brianna behind. Oh come on. In any event, you have probably been for any longerer looking forward Bree/Roger for awhile as she has brownish eyes and he doesn’t look like you imagined him?
She doesn’t have her famous ass or whisky colored eyes, he doesn’t have cat eyes, wide mouth or facial features of Viking -yet everyone love them Neither Sam match their book descriptions,, nor Caitriona. Give those 2 a chance. Um, To be honest I beg to differ. My mother and father one and the other had hazel eyes. I have most distinctly obscure blue eyes, not dim grey, not hazel. My brother has gloomy brown eyes. No, there’s no question about paternity. Now this completely occurs in cases of genetic may be apparent. Besides, the brownish trait ain’t apparent in Jamie or Claire thence it can’t be transferred to offspring. I would simply appreciate that whoever does characters casting bear in mind that there should’ve been some genetic resemblence feasability/perhaps betwixt a couple and their offspring to give believability to the notion that this character has been their biological child.
